Walden School of Liberal Arts

Walden School, as the only K-12 public Montessori school in the state of Utah, is founded on Maria Montessori’s philosophy of education with an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, discovery, and developmentally appropriate learning activities. Her method is based on a profound respect for all aspects of a child’s cognitive, academic, psychological, physical, and social development. Walden, like all Montessori schools, seeks to create learning environments where discovery and interest help guide the learning process.
