Apple Montessori School (Edgewater, NJ)

The Edgewater location has been serving children from the age two to six years old for over twenty years. Montessori materials are used throughout the program providing a strong preschool foundation that enables our students to excel in their academic work. Many go on to the elementary program and have transferred to the many excellent private schools in the area as well as to both public and parochial schools. Many of our graduates have been placed in the gifted and talented programs in the receiving schools. Our unique early literacy curriculum combines aspects of a highly respected reading program, traditional Montessori language acquisition materials, and games and materials designed by our founder, Jane Bailey, to insure the early development of strong reading skills and tremendous confidence in our students. In the summer we offer a summer camp program.
