The Montessori School of Columbia offers an authentic Montessori education that challenges students academically and fosters each child’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth in order to prepare them to serve as responsible citizens of the greater community. Established in 1983, the Montessori School of Columbia is a warm and wonderful, not-for-profit school. Located on 2.5 wooded acres in the heart of the capital of South Carolina, we are five minutes from the University of South Carolina and Downtown Columbia and two hours from the mountains or the coast.
