Apple Montessori School (Kinnelon, NJ)

Kinnelon location serves children from the age of 2 through the kindergarten year. The school is located on a beautiful wooded piece of property and has a large, shaded play area and a swimming pool that was specially designed for small children. Montessori materials are used throughout the program providing a strong preschool foundation that enables our students to excel in their elementary years. Some of our graduates transfer to the elementary program that we offer in nearby Wayne, NJ. Others transfeer to local public, private and parochial schools. Our unique early literacy curriculum combines aspects of a highly respected reading program, traditional Montessori language acquisition materials, and games and materials designed by our founder, Jane Bailey, to insure the early development of strong reading skills and tremendous confidence in our students. In the summer we offer a summer camp program.
